About Basketball Stats Calculator

This calculator transforms raw season totals into meaningful per-game statistics and advanced efficiency metrics. PPG (Points Per Game), RPG (Rebounds Per Game), and APG (Assists Per Game) are the traditional "triple-double" stats. Advanced metrics include Efficiency (EFF) — a comprehensive measure of overall production per game — and True Shooting Percentage (TS%) — which accounts for the value of three-pointers and free throws. All calculations happen in your browser with zero data sent to any server.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a good Points Per Game (PPG) in basketball?

In the NBA, 20+ PPG is All-Star level, 15-20 is solid starter level, 10-15 is rotation player level, and below 10 is typically a bench role. In college and high school, these benchmarks are lower.

How is Efficiency (EFF) calculated?

Efficiency = (Points + Rebounds + Assists + Steals + Blocks) − (Missed FG + Missed FT + Turnovers), all divided by Games Played. An EFF of 15+ is excellent, 20+ is All-Star level, and 25+ is MVP caliber.

What is True Shooting Percentage (TS%)?

TS% measures shooting efficiency accounting for free throws and three-pointers. Formula: Points / (2 × (FGA + 0.44 × FTA)) × 100. 55%+ is good, 60%+ is elite.
